Bikes and Scooters
Bicycles are allowed and encouraged for students in grades 3-6. Helmets are required for all bike riders.
Skateboards and scooters of any kind are not allowed on campus. Motorized scooters are illegal for all students under the age of 16, as a valid driver's license of instruction permit is required to operate a motorized scooter. It is also illegal for students to be passengers on a motorized scooter.
All of these policies and procedures are in place for student safety. See this link for IUSD Policies related to Bicycle Use.
