Please complete a form for each child no later than Friday, March 30, 2018. Please complete the form even if your child(ren) will not return to Springbrook next school year. The last two questions on the form provide options for you to indicate your plans for 2018-2019, Please complete one form for each child.

MONTESSORI Parents do not need to submit this form.

Residency Verification Form 2018-2019

The Irvine Unified School District will once again require residency verification for all IUSD students enrolling for the 2018-19 school year. This process is an annual legal requirement in California and it helps our district ensure that all available resources are spent efficiently and effectively to the benefit of our Irvine families. Moreover, these additional steps will help provide a full and precise accounting of our student population as we review staffing for the coming year.

Thanks to all parents and guardians who have submitted the Residency Verification Form by the due date. By completing the 2018-2019 Residency Verification Form for each child, parents will be making a formal declaration that your child lives within IUSD’s attendance boundaries.

To ensure Springbrook collects all of the forms, the deadline has been extended.
For parents and guardians who have not done so, please return the forms and required documents AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

Parents of students in all grades, Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 6th grade including Montessori, please bring the Residency Verification Form into the Springbrook office along copies of the required documents and parent ID. Montessori parents who have completed forms required to return to the program may disregard this request.

Click on the here to access the 2018-2019 Residency Verification Form. You may complete form online. However, parents will need to print the form and bring it to the Springbrook office along with copies of required documents including your identification to complete the Verification process.

Volunteer Registration

All new and returning volunteers are required to register and be approved through a background check system called Raptor. While this initial step of registering, and checking in at school each time you arrive to volunteer may seem to be an inconvenience, it truly is to protect the well-being of all of our students. All parents want their children to be protected while at school, and this system checks for criminal offenses each time a volunteer checks in.

For more information, click Parent Involvement/Volunteers.  This page on the IUSD website has frequently asked questions, a link to the online application, and instructions for becoming an approved volunteer.

STEPS to apply or reapply (required each year):

  1. Fill out the Online Volunteer Application first from home or one of the computer stations in the front office (about 15 minutes):
  2. Contact or visit the school site to arrange completing the application by having your ID scanned into the system.
