Red Ribbon Week

Please help celebrate and honor Red Ribbon Week by participating in the fun theme days!

Monday – Wear RED to show you are ready to take a stand against drugs!

Tuesday – “Use your head, don’t use drugs!” – Come to school in a crazy hat or crazy hair!

Wednesday – “Stand up against drugs!” – Wear a pair of mismatch socks!

Thursday – “Team up again drugs!” – Wear your favorite sports team shirt!

Friday – “Spirit Day!” – Wear your school shirt of blue and green shirt!

Book Fair in the Library

Come and find a new book to enjoy at the Book Fair in the library.  The Book Fair will be open during lunch and afterschool.

Harvest Parade, 8:10 starting on the blacktop

Our Halloween Parade will start at 8:10 on the playground.  Parents are welcome to make a large circle for the students to parade around.

Costumes must be school appropriate

Please:

NO Gang attire

NO Clown costumes or make-up

NO Masks or covered faces

NO hoodie costumes, faces may not be covered

NO weapons

Light make-up is ok

Temporary hair color / wigs are ok

 

Volunteers

If you would like to volunteer, please fill out this application first, then bring your driver's license to the front office so that it can be scanned. When both steps have been completed, you will be able to volunteer in the classroom.  These steps both need to be done for this current year.

Federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001

We are pleased to report that for the school year 2016-17 all Meadow Park teachers and instructional aides are “highly qualified” as defined by the Federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
