Here at the Irvine Adult Transition Program, our staff work with students to increase their independence in the areas of Education/Training, Employment and Independent Living Skills through Community Based Instruction. Our programing is designed to meet the needs of students with disabilities between the ages of 18-22. We provide students internship opportunities both on-site and off-site at local businesses. We are very proud of our partnerships in the community and are continually adding partnerships every year. During the school year, there are several parent training opportunities and social events for students including; Adult Service Provider Night, Conservatorship training, Social Security and Benefits Planning trainings, Movie Nights, a dance and a graduation for students exiting our program. We are looking forward to a prosperous year of growth and independence in the 2016-2017 school year.
