What is IPEP?

Irvine Parent Education Program (IPEP)

Fall Workshops Invitation - 2017

Irvine Parent Education Programs (IPEP) are FREE seminars and educational workshops offered to Irvine parents throughout the school year. Our goal is to empower parents with the skills and strategies necessary to become active participants in their child’s education. IPEP offers a variety of workshops focused on topics important to parents of IUSD students. Experienced instructors and district-level representatives facilitate the interactive workshops, engaging participants in conversations and hands-on activities. We invite you to register for one or more of the IPEP Fall Parent Workshops).  These workshops are popular and space is limited, so please only sign up for workshops you are certain you will be able to attend. *All workshops are 9:30 -11:00 am*

Stay Connected to IUSD

Newsletter/Website Text

As part of Emergency Preparedness Month, below is an important message from the District about how you can stay connected with our school and IUSD during an emergency.  [Optional: promote any information that is specific to your school site and promote your social media sites]

Dear IUSD Families,

There are a number of reasons to stay connected with IUSD, including receiving important news and information about the District and our school on a regular basis. It is also important to know how to connect with IUSD during an emergency. Below are some ways that you can stay connected to IUSD in real time, 24/7.

Check your email, voicemail and text messages first

  • Please make sure your contact information in the Parent Portal is up to date.
  • If you unsubscribed from school or District emails, you will not receive important updates during an emergency.
  • To re-subscribe, please email HelpDesk@iusd.org.

In the event of a school or districtwide emergency, please check these resources first.  They are updated in real time and will help you get the information you need immediately.

Following this protocol will also help keep phone lines open for staff and first responders.  To keep District contact information at your fingertips and available for the whole family, save the attached flier, which was also sent home in your child’s backpack with a magnet, click on the image and save it to favorites on your mobile device, save the information in your contacts on your mobile device or post this flier with the magnet on your refrigerator.

Suggested School Supply List 17-18

Cypress Village Elementary School will provide all of the necessary supplies for your child to have a quality educational experience. You may, however, choose to assist the school by purchasing the following supplies for your student. Please note that the school uses Wet Ones as our Antibacterial wipes due to allergy needs of students. All students will need a backpack (no wheels in kindergarten) and a lunchbox if they are bringing lunch/snack to school. We encourage you to pack food items in tightly sealed containers to avoid ant issues. Thank you to our Cypress Village community for generously supporting our school program and assisting our students and teachers.
