Calling all Volunteers

Interested in supporting Cypress Village? We have many volunteering opportunities, through teachers, PTA, and the front office that will allow you to take a more active role in the Cypress Village community. Please stop by and check-in at the front office if interested in learning about more ways to support our school.

Kids Run the OC

The KROC, Kids Run the Orange County, program helps pre-adolescent kids and families become more physically fit in order to promote a healthy lifestyle. Students from each participating school will be led through a popular and fun training program at their school led by an OC Marathon certified community volunteer. By the end of the program each student will have accumulated the equivalent of 25.2 miles of fun activity and will be ready to finish their own Marathon by completing the "Final Mile" at the Kids Run The OC event next May 6th, during the OC Marathon Running Festival weekend.

Please let our PTA or front office know if you are interested in volunteering and taking an active role in bringing this program to Cypress Village Elementary. Volunteer information sessions are scheduled for October and November.

Suggested School Supply List 16-17

Cypress Village Elementary School will provide all of the necessary supplies for your child to have a quality educational experience. You may, however, choose to assist the school by purchasing the following supplies for your student. Please note that the school uses Wet Ones as our Antibacterial wipes due to allergy needs of students. All students will need a backpack (no wheels in kindergarten) and a lunchbox if they are bringing lunch/snack to school. We encourage you to pack food items in tightly sealed containers to avoid ant issues.
