Click here  for Online Volunteer Registration

College Park is so grateful for all of the parents that volunteer their time to help out! If you are planning on volunteering at College Park you can register your hours as a visitor two different ways: 1) Fill out the volunteer application on the front page of our website prior to coming to the office to have your photo ID scanned. 2) Let the office staff know that you would like to be a volunteer on your first visit at the time that they scan your ID.  If you have already been registered as a visitor, you will need to bring in your ID once more to request that we re-register you into our system. Thank you in advance for your patience as we continually adjust to our new software!

An Update Regarding State Test Scores

This past spring, students took part in the 2017 California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP).  CAASPP consists of computerized Smarter Balanced assessments in English language arts/literacy and mathematics for students in grades 3-8 and 11.  Students in grades 5, 8, and some students in high school also participated in a pilot for an online science assessment based on the Next Generation Science Standards.  This science pilot was a ‘test of the test’ and not a test of student performance.  As a result, no scores will be reported for the science pilot test this year.

In the next few weeks, your child’s CAASPP score report will be mailed to your home.  When looking at these reports it is important to keep in mind that these scores should be considered as just one of many measures of student learning.  Remember, your child’s teacher is always your best resource when it comes to information regarding your child’s academic progress.  For more information about statewide testing in IUSD, click here.
